Pianist Clint Cancio has been heralded for his "deeply mature understanding of musical architecture, with a flair that invokes the Golden Age of piano combined with a modern outlook."

Mr. Cancio gave his first solo performance at the age of five and has since performed extensively throughout California, Texas and in Washington, D.C. As a featured solo artist, he has performed with the Oakland Youth Orchestra and the Redwood Symphony, and he was highlighted on the cable television series Grand Piano. Mr. Cancio has studied with such esteemed artists as John McCarthy, Paul Hersh, Norman Krieger, Antoinette Perry and Thomas LaRatta. He has also participated in master classes for John Perry, Stephen Prutsman, and John O' Conor.

In addition to holding a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Notre Dame de Namur University, Mr. Cancio received scholarships while attending the University of Southern California and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The winner of numerous prizes and competitions, he most recently received the Kenneth Bennight Memorial Award at the 32nd annual International Corpus Christi Young Artists' Competition.

Mr. Cancio currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and serves as a faculty member at Notre Dame de Namur University and the Crestmont Conservatory of Music, while maintaining an active performance schedule.
